Sandy is the sweetest! She is my little brothers loving Girlfriend, and obvi I cherish her.

Sandy came to me wanting to shoot something fun and wild, so I came up with this magical shoot at the Dry Lake Bed near our hometown in Boulder City! I wanted to do a spinoff of the classic glam desert shoots normally done at the Drylake, except I wanted to add a bit of vintage/minimal goddess chic.

Sandy has an awesome MUA friend named Mia who was super excited to join us for the shoot! Mia is creative and so talented, and did such a great job with Sandy's look! We all drove down to the Drylake right before noon, basically shooting in the height of the autumn Vegas heat... Probably not our best move. The vibes were amazing at first, and we totally jammed on Mia's speaker while we danced around taking pictures as the sun crept higher and higher in the sky... But alas... we were not smart little gypsies, and we definitely did not bring any ice or water to keep cool and hydrated. Sandy almost nearly had a heat stroke... Literally. It was a little scary, but she was totally okay and survived the shoot unharmed! Just a bit shaken up. Haha We still managed to get some super amazing shots before we melted away...

Needless to say, operation DRYLAKE was a success (minus the obvious lapse of judgement).... LOL Until next time kids, don't forget to bring your water and supplies! Oh, and USE YOUR BRAIN! :)
